Your OFATV trail permit is much more than just a pass — it's club membership, insurance, advocacy, and access to nearly 10,000 km of trails across Ontario.
Becoming a COATV member means joining a community of riders who care deeply about safe, sustainable, and well-maintained trails throughout Simcoe County.
An OFATV trail permit connects you directly with COATV and gives you a voice in shaping the future of ATVing in Ontario. Up to 75% of every permit dollar goes right back into building and maintaining trails in the area you ride.
Your membership also unlocks reciprocal access through the OFATV's province-wide club network and benefits via the OFATV Rider Advantage program.

Where Your Permit Dollars Go
"Buy where you ride."
Up to 75% of every permit dollar goes directly back into building and maintaining ATV trails in the area you selected when buying your permit. The remainder covers HST, liability insurance, government advocacy, and OFATV operating costs.

Non-Riding Associate Membership
Believe in what COATV does but don't ride yourself? Associate membership is for landowners, supporters, family members, and anyone who wants to stand behind the club.
Associate Members keep COATV strong even without putting a wheel on the trail.
Maybe you're a landowner who hosts a trail, a spouse or parent of an active rider, a retired rider, or a community member who simply wants to support what we do. Associate Membership gives you a way in without requiring a permit.
Associate Members receive club communications, can attend monthly meetings, and are eligible to participate in club events and social gatherings.
